Description

SVdP offers a wide range of low-barrier support for unhoused community members and people in crisis. Homeless and Shelter Services address shelter, safety and material needs through daytime and overnight shelter programs, warm meals, accessible restrooms and showers, laundry and mail services. SVdP works alongside community partners to implement result-driven strategies that help unhoused individuals meet their individual goals and exit homelessness.

  • Dawn to Dawn invites unsheltered individuals to sleep safely in heated, heavy-duty communal tents, providing 24/7 shelter access and meals and social services located across the street at the Eugene Service Station.
  • Eugene Service Station provides homeless adults with a welcoming place where they can meet their basic needs (food, day shelter, clothing, laundry, showers, supplies) and get assistance stabilizing their personal crises.
  • Lindholm Social Service Office offers emergency support with rent, utilities, clothing, fuel, prescription medications, appliances, furniture, household items, bus tokens, transportation, etc.
  • The Schlies Resource Center (SRC) is an office building located onsite at the Eugene Service Station that provides streamlined access to service providers, including nonprofits and government agencies.
  • Egan Warming Centers (The Zone) provide overnight shelter, between Nov. 15 to March 31, when the weather is forecast to fall below 29 degrees. Homeless adults receive food, cots and blankets for the night. Homeless youth have a separate site.
  • 410 Safe Sleep Site includes an indoor facility with heated spaces and a variety of features to support health and stability, as well as Conestoga huts for guests with pets.
  • 310 Safe Sleep Site provides vehicle spaces for people experiencing homelessness and currently living in cars and RVs, and includes two warmed, common spaces for residents to get out of the cold.
  • First Place Family Center gives crucial assistance to families with children who are in transition due to homelessness, job loss, health issues, or other critical problems.
  • Night Shelter Annex provides low-barrier shelter to families experiencing homelessness, including individual dorm units, pallet shelters, laundry, showers, meals and access to the First Place Family Center day-access program.
